abinet instillation has taken place in Cashiers! I am posting a quick update on the kitchen beautification taking place at Figgy Cottage this week. Big changes and installations are happening as I type. Countertops are being measured tomorrow and a few of the appliances will be arriving. The tile for the back splash is in, the lighting is ordered and the pot rack is in the making. The Chinese Chippendale rail for the stairs is being painted right now–excitement is in the air … check back soon for more updates.

Stucco and old beam hood designed by Keven Hawkins and made by my builder Tom Nunnaly–love the results

Farm house sink under the window–subway tile back splash will run from the counters to the ceiling. Cute Janie is supervising
Happy dance, happy dance! Much more soon.

Lissy everything looks amazing! Love seeded glass (slightly obscures which is always good!). That chippendale railing is fabulous! You must have quite an artisan for a contractor!
