ell, I’m focusing on the details this week while waiting on the final range hood installation, open shelving, pantry counters and the painters. The round linen-covered tables were a little high next to my loveseat, and the copper urns were just a little tall. I’m taking them to the new Mountain house renovation. I brought these two smaller rectangular tables in to try. The one on the left is a ‘cocktail’ table with a candlestick lamp from Boxwoods–Atlanta. The one on the right is one of my own antique tables with a floral urn lamp on top–also from Boxwoods–Atlanta. I know, I have a Boxwoods problem. Do you have a favorite?

The round linen-covered tables with the Belgian coffee urns–just too tall. I was going to make the urns into lamps–they would touch the ceiling!

The 'Cocktail' table and candlestick lamp on the left–very slim and beautiful. This table can hold the lamp and a drink.
Decisions, decisions!

lower lovelies this week features this amazing ‘Tulipiere’ from the new ‘Country Estate’ china pattern by Juliska. I love this pattern so much that I designed my Atlanta kitchen remodel around it–lots of grays and creamy whites live here now. The room is so restful that I have been working here for two days now–peaceful and happy. Can a room do that? Back to the flowers–pink tulips of course, dozens of them. Have a wonderful weekend and arrange some tulips for yourself.
y posting is just a little slow this week. I’m trying to get things back in order. I’ll post the finished project soon–hopefully. Here is just a quick update on my progress.

ave a wonderful Spring Weekend!
ow, the counters are being installed today! I have been removing construction floor paper and cleaning for two days in anticipation of having a usable kitchen again and we are almost there. The guys from Black Rock Granite and Marble have been fitting and installing these lovelies to perfection all afternoon. The Marble is simply stunning, but I am a little biased. Here is a little sneak–peak to wet your appetites.

aster weekend is here and we are off to the mountains again. I hope that all of you have a safe and wonderful time during this renewing season of the year. May God bless all of you!

ust a little kitchen update to let you know how it is all progressing around here. We have had a kitchen full of painters, carpenters, plumbers, appliance installers and electricians working this week. My head is still spinning from all the decisions I have made in the last few days. What do you think so far?
